Tan You Wei

Tan You Wei is a Singaporean pianist, composer, and collaborative musician known for his versatility and expressive musicality. A recent valedictorian graduate of the Diploma in Music programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), he is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music with NAFA and the Royal College of Music, with an expected completion in 2027.

You Wei is active as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician, regularly performing with instrumentalists and vocalists across a wide range of styles. He is also a committed collaborator and music director, having co-founded the Alouette Ensemble in 2025—a flexible chamber group known for curating intimate performances for events, weddings, and public concerts.

As a composer and arranger, You Wei draws from his classical training and deep interest in Southeast Asian sounds, often blending contemporary textures with folk influences. His works have been performed by chamber groups and featured in community initiatives.
